REBECCA BASILE

PRIMARY CLASS CO-LEAD GUIDE

Rebecca began her 3-6 Montessori career in 2006, after the birth of her first child.  She studied in Dallas, TX and worked at the Montessori School for Shreveport before embarking on a little adventure out West.  She taught in a Montessori program in Crested Butte, CO and then settled in Sacramento, CA to learn more about early childhood education studying Waldorf and Reggio Emilia all the while staying true to her Montessori roots.  After marrying and the birth of four more children, Rebecca and her husband decided to settle closer to family in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Always learning, Rebecca is receiving her certification in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Levels 1&2, and most recently has enrolled in an AMI training center for Montessori Elementary ages 6-12.  Nothing resonates in her heart more than Maria Montessori's vision of peace through the education of the child.
