Teddi has been at University Montessori School since it opened in 1978. She believes in the potential in every child and does everything to promote it. She feels that the children are her friends and enjoys being with them. She has a good time with the children. She is a true Montessorian with a deep understanding of how children and all humans learn. She is completely devoted to UMS.

Eva came to UMS first as a parent. She was an involved

parent and worked on several of our auctions. She is a

lovely person in every way and handles so much in the office and is always happy to help out in the classroom. We really could not get along without her! She and her husband love to travel and are the parents of three lovely children, two which graduated from UMS.

Gail has never met a stranger! She forms a personal

relationship with everyone, especially children. She

is a character and keeps everyone laughing. She is so good with the children and the parents. She and her husband, Wayne, have three grown children, Gigi, Wayne, and Heidi (attended UMS), and, also two grandchildren, Tyler and Jaden, who also attended UMS.

 

HEATHER HASSELLE

TEACHER IN THE PRIMARY COMMUNITY

Gail is a lovely person who is kind and loving with the children. She plays fun games and sings songs with them, all in Spanish. Gail has taught Spanish in elementary schools, high school and at Tulane University.

ART TEACHER ON FRIDAY AFTERNOONS

                                                          Margo has an amazing ability to present art concepts to

                                                          young children in a way that they understand it such as

                                                          perspective,organic and inorganic shapes, etc. The children                                                                                       love art class and create great pieces of art.

 

 

CAROLYN DURONSLET
FORMER UMS TEACHER IN PRIMARY COMMUNITY BUT RETIRED A FEW YEARS AGO. HOWEVER, SHE TEACHES SCIENCE AND SPORTS SKILLS TWO AFTERNOONS A WEEK. SHE IS ALSO OUR SUBSTITUTE.

Carolyn is a great teacher who puts a lot of effort into all
